Provence and southern Italy-based, I am a Full Professor of Comparative Literature at Aix-Marseille University, having especially written on philosophy, psychoanalysis, and poetry from the troubadours to the present. But fashion is my passion, and I observe it worldwide from the vantage point of the Italian fashion industry, which is a hub where the multifarious fashion cultures of the world dialog with one another.
